Description: Fruit of the union of cooked must with cherry wood, this extra-old vinegar is part of a battery set up back in 1950. 60 long years of ageing, lovingly guided by the expert hands of Marisa, have given birth to a product which is an ideal complement to the most important meals, from antipasto to dessert.
Appearance: dark brown, velvety and glossy like the renowned black cherries of Vignola.
Food pairing: Try just a few drops to enhance risotto, dribble it on Parmigiano Reggiano as an antipasto, enjoy it on desserts with berry fruits, ice-cream or creamy sweets.

A visit to Marisa Barbieri’s Acetaia means becoming part of the history of a family with the passion it has always dedicated to the production of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena (ABTM).

You will be taken on an informative tour of the attic rooms where you’ll see the barrels of many woods: oak, chestnut, cherry wood, mulberry, juniper. The highlight will be the tasting of various types of our balsamic vinegar.

The visit of 30 minutes is free of charge and is held in English or Italian. A French tour may be possible by arrangement.
